Sports Picks - Sports Handicappers Hold a Decisive Edge over the Bookies
After a wild affair on Tuesday evening at Wrigley, the
Rockies remain standing as they beat the Cubs in a 13 inning showdown by a
final of 2-1. The one game, play-in game was a battle from start to finish as
the Rockies scored first and held the lead until giving up the tying run in the
bottom of the 8th. Joe Madden’s crew was ready but not ready enough
for a tough minded Colorado Rockies. They now go on to face the Milwaukee
Brewers in the NLDS.
The Yankees showed up in a big way in the Bronx on
Wednesday night beating the Oakland A’s 7-2. This one was never in doubt and it
all started in the first inning off the bat of Aaron Judge who drilled a homer
to take the 2-0 lead. Although Severino wasn’t exactly overpowering, he was
good enough to last 4 innings giving up 2 hits, no runs, 4 walks and 7
strikeouts. The walks are troubling, in just 4 innings, the Yankees ace gave up
4 walks. The Yankees will need more than one, pitching gem against the Red Sox.
This series could be one for the ages.
NLDS:
Rockies vs. Brewers
Braves vs. Dodgers
ALDS:
Indians vs. Astros
Yankees vs. Red Sox
Both the NLDS and ALDS are played as a best of 5 series.
A five game series is dangerous and whomever has the momentum coming in, they
often have the upper hand. The Braves are posting a +185 series price against a
-225 for the Dodgers. The Indians square off against the Astros and they are
posting a +140 against a -160 for the Astros. (Series price for Rockies vs.
Brewers and Yankees vs. Red Sox, not yet available. Be sure to check with your
favorite bookie for the lines and odds
in both of these respective series’.)

News - Whether or Not to Take a Sportsbook Bonus
Both of these matchups will be beyond good and here is
what you can expect:
The Do Not’s—
Do not take the Atlanta Braves for granted. This team
battled all season long and they never really let loose of the reigns in the NL
East. They are the best team in the East and they deserve this. It would be a
mistake to look at the Braves as a fluke. The Braves are batting .257 as a
team, that’s.08 points better, than the Yankees. Their pitching has been
consistent across the board but certainly not overpowering, however,
consistency goes a long ways and if they can continue where they left off to
end the season, they will give the Dodgers fits in the NLDS.
Do not even think of counting the Cleveland Indians out!
This team is tough both physically and mentally. They come at you like a
national league team concerning strategy but hit with all the power of an
American league team. This team hits the ball a ton and with 216 homers on the
season, the Astros will have their hands full. Not only do they hit for power,
they hit for a team average of .259. The Indians pitching has been stellar,
beyond stellar. With names like Bauer, Kluber, Clevinger, Carrasco and Bieber.
Corey Kluber is a 20 game winner and you can bet this guy will be nails on
Friday night. We are not saying Justin Verlander is chopped liver, he will be
good. This first game will be a classic playoff battle.
